One early summer morning, on her way to work, Renee, a 41-year-old woman, finds a young Asian man sleeping on the side of a country road.
She decides to watch over him until he wakes up. Her young friend Juul, a child of nature, passes by and is mesmerised by this man who sleeps under trees.
While the landscape colours, discolours and colours again, Renee, Bo and Juul meet again, and again. They walk together in conversation, in silence, in wonder.
Juul's curious open mind disarms both adults and he unconsciously creates the space for them in which a vulnerable conversation blossoms.
White Heron tells of an encounter changing three people on the rhythm of a contemplative conversation while nature moves through all its seasons.
